Endless Summer Creations

The beginning of Carl's Sonic Mania Diorama, depicting the Studiopolis World!  An idea that completely happened by chance.  I was down at the Goodwill when I saw two old fish tanks for $10 each.  One of them I'm using for a Christmas Diorama.  But the other one gets this cool life! Color pictures printed from the web Beginning of base with yellow and blue Legos "Kragled" into place 😀 Decorations from a Lego Friends set and pearly pebbles hot-glued into place as well ...and more to come!

Son and I made these gorgeous little gardens today in less than 10 minutes...

Charlotte came from a dysfunctional but very artistic and creative family. While there were often pain and struggles, there were also happy times. Blood alone does not a family make... I began working on this project two years ago. I followed the directions this project took me. I originally had much more written but have pared most of it away, down to the essence. I am indebted to my beautiful son for concepts and inspiration. It's fitting that I'm publishing this on the day Hurricane Irma is bearing down on us. I love my husband, son and my family of colleagues. I am blessed to have that love. And my wish for all of you is that you feel the irreplaceable love of family every day, no matter who your family may be or how you came together. Or an A-ha! moment as Oprah would say.  And I have my beautiful son to thank for it.  I have been stuck on a project that's very close to my heart but nothing seemed to coming out the way I wanted to say it.  But my son has now, through the strength of his love, given me a breakthrough idea.  I cannot wait to take it for a ride!
